Experienced in applying the EFQM Excellence Model, Leon Tossaint:
- was involved in developing the EFQM Model in the early EFQM stage (1988-1992),
- has implemented the EFQM Model and Assessment Methodology at all levels of a global multinational Company (Philips),
- was over 1 decade responsible as Vice President to drive the Business Excellence Program of Philips Consumer Electronics,
- has EFQM Assessment experiences in many Companies and different types of Industry,
- is Accredited Excellence Model Assessor for the 2010 EFQM Excellence Model,
- is Honorable Board Member of the Slovenian Foundation of Business Excellence,
- has been recognized by the EFQM as ‘EFQM Licensed Advisor 2011’.
Every Organization is unique and although the EFQM Excellence model is generic, I believe the way to use this Model has to be tailored closely to the organization’s culture you want to establish, the strategy you want to achieve and the nature of your ‘business environment’.
